People have been talking about the Google PageRank for a while. A lot of people I’ve read from put a lot of importance on what their Google PR is (found by using the Google toolbar in your browser). I’ve kept saying and reading from others that Google PR isn’t that accurate and really doesn’t have much to do with anything significant.
Today I found my partial justification. Google Tells Us that PageRank is for Entertainment Purposes Only. Turns out, at least according to the Search Engine Roundtable, that Google PR is used by Google as a piece of their rankings, but the measurement you see in your toolbar isn’t necessarily an accurate measurement.
