MORE THAN THE SHIRT YOU WEAR

In his book “Fearless Faith”, John Fischer tells of a friend who regularly wore message T-shirts in hopes that someone would ask about Jesus Christ. No one ever asked him about his faith. One day, however, he wore a shirt with a Fender guitar logo. Three guys who also loved Fender guitars started conversations that led to a discussion about Jesus.

Pederson goes on to say, “It might be our best evangelistic strategy to develop affinity interests in guitars or motorcycles in order to build commonality with those outside the Christian subculture.
