Future of Internet Evangelism at effective web ministry notes

Future of Internet Evangelism

I received an email today from a good friend asking the question:

what [do you] believe will be the next best step in Internet Evangelism. Do you think it will be podcasting, mobile technology, or something else?

Within moments of getting this email, I received another from CNN pointing me to an article entitled Nokia unveils premium line of phones where they say:

Nokia unveiled new premium phones on Wednesday that included one with an MP3 music player that it said will outsell Apple’s iPod and a camera phone that it forecast will surpass Canon, the world’s top digital camera maker.

They are delivering a device that will combine live communication (voice and text), prerecorded communication (podcasts and other mp3s), visual communication (photos and perhaps eventually video), and the ability to share content (post text and photos to blogs, swap files)…most in a community context.

I have a feeling this is our future.

So how do we prepare for this future from an evangelistic point of view? I think it’s going to have to be in the arena of providing great content through new relationships.
