A friend of mine emailed me this:
I like to listen to sermons and seminars when I’m working. But i’m pretty much tapped out on the stuff from my favorite speakers. I need new material!Do you have a favorite pastor or speaker that you listen to (who also has messages online) that I could download and listen? I’m especially interested in contemporary issues and anything related to counseling & psychology, but I’ll listen to anything.
Know any good podcasts that she can start with?
7/9/05 UPDATE: Here’s a good start.

I’ll keep it in mind. Cant think of any right now — but will let you know if I come across anything.
You could provide pastors with the equipment to digitally record their sermons and the software to set up the podcasts. Then we could podcast for you.
What do you think, Bill?
Great idea, but I don’t have the stuff to create a podcast.
My understanding is all you need is a mic and computer to record (pretty much).
I dunno. I’ve never done it.
Thanks to Smart Christian blog, here’s something that looks good: Mayberry Church.
This website is for people in ministry who just need to be real and shed the “I AM PREFECT” image that we all get trapped into living. It’s about ministry when your not Saddleback and you find yourself up a Willow Creek.
I record the sermons for Danube International Church each week. Ronnie Stevens, the pastor, is in my opinion, one of the top 10 English-language Christian speakers in the world today.
You can download sermons individually here or receive them by podcast here (http://danubechurch.org/podcast/).
What ministries do you listen to that you have run out of “tapes.” I would love to find recommended sermons from others.
I have a few favorites like http://www.lote.org and http://www.rhchurch.org/audio.php .
