Using PPC for God

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you know my heart is to help Christians move their websites into web ministries. There are several things one can do to accomplish this. That’s why I’ve got so many topics in here, so many links, so many resources. I hope someone finds it useful!

Well, somehow I missed a great article last week. Funny…I received that article in my subscriptions but still missed it. But that’s why I subscribe to many feeds.

ChurchMarketingSucks pointed me to the wayward article this morning entitled The God of Search (and I Don’t Mean Google). In it the author states:

The attention now being paid to pay-per-click marketing as a form of outreach marks an important shift in the attitude of the modern church. ‘More and more people use search engines to find the things they are looking for each and every day. This includes churches and ministries’ says David Wallace, founder of Search Rank, a search engine marketing firm.

I plan to ingest the rest of this article later. It’s always interesting when the secular market begins to take notice of the church.
