As RSS catches on, how will web design be effected?
This will be interesting to watch. CSS will probably be the rule. Aggregators will be common…and built into other applications like browsers and email clients (they already are, but will be more popular). What is a web designer to do when the focus changes back to full content and not much with layout? Or will their jobs change?
I remember someone very smart telling me a few years ago when I was a web designer that everything I could do would one day be replaced by software. About 4 years later, that statement has become almost fully true.
