The ChurchNerd is asking today how would you define the term Web Ministry? He says it’s:
A Web Ministry is the use of a church’s gifts and talents, time and energy, in the service of making Disciples of Christ on the World Wide Web. This should not be limited to just a web site but the church should use all the resources available to them.
I like it. I’d probably tweak it like this:
Web Ministry is using internet resources (namely the web) to utilize the gifts, talents, resources, and desires of a believer (church, organization, individual) to make an eternal impact in the lives of individuals.
Hum. Maybe I need to chew on that a little more. What do you think? Stop by ChurchNerd’s post and comment there too.
