Not sure why I didn’t post this earlier, but this was an email I sent to a few co-workers a few weeks ago:
This is how viral works.
First there’s this article: 8 things pastors need to know about e-ministry by Terrell Sanders
Keith blogs about it: 8 things pastors need to know about e-ministry
Then I pick it up: 8 things pastors need to know about e-ministry
Then ChurchMarketingSucks.com picks it up: What Pastors Need to Know About the Internet
Then Strategy Central picks it up: 8 Things Pastors Need to Know about the Internet
Each time a new audience is exposed to the message.
Conclusion: content is king. Write good stuff and share it with your audience. No matter the size, if there are key people in that audience that are connected, the message will spread.
