I’ve been sitting on this post for a while for some reason and I don’t remember why. So I’m posting it now.
Dana VanDen Heuvel had a great post called Social networking tools for conference blogging where she proposes “what makes a good social media toolset for conferences”. Her list:
- A blog (of course)
- A wiki
- A Frappr map of conference attendees, speakers and followers
- A del.icio.us account tracking links about the conference
- A flickr photstream with conference photos, tagged with the appropriate keywords
- A technorati link to the conference keywords & tags
- Buzznet Buzzwords
For example.
I admit I know what the first six are, but don’t know much about buzznet buzwords. You? When we did MinistryNet: Budapest 2005 we were trying some of these in some ways!
