I’m trying a little experiment and want to enlist your help. Of course you’re going to gain something from this too.
I’ve been playing around with wordpress.com, a free blog service hosted by Word Press. I can’t decide what to do with the spot I have so I’m going to try something different.
I’ve created my own Lent Challenge: a daily reading schedule to read the four gospels in the 40 days of Lent. I’m going to use that blog to:
- Personally keep me accountable to the daily readings by setting it up early, pre-dating all the posts, and subscribing to the RSS feed
- Encourage others to read along with me and leave comments
- Prayerfully some non-Christians will engage with
meus and we can converse there.
Will you join me? I ask you to do two things:
- Take up the challenge to read the four Gospels during Lent by accepting The Lent Challenge
- Promote the site to anyone — but do it now! Lent starts Wednesday.
I’m excited about this idea and curious about how it’ll work out. At the very least, it’ll help me read the Gospels.
