My church has been doing mass mailings of marketing postcard invitations for a couple of years. This year we started giving away a Starbucks gift card to anyone who brought in one of the postcards. It’s not intended to create an incentive for people to come to our church, but rather intended as a way of tracking the effectiveness of the mailers. Up until now we’ve had a difficult time knowing who has come because of the mailers vs personal invitations from members or other methods.
