Keith Seabourn, CTO for Campus Crusade, has recently been in Europe at the EASC conference. On his blog, he has a very encouraging story about Antonio who began seeking answers online. He was paired up with a mentor of which they had conversations through email, phone, and face-to-face. Not only is Antonio now a brother in Christ, he is connected to a local church and is sharing his faith in Christ with others.
After Keith tells this story, he comments:
We are beginning to get significant traction in Europe for the important role Internet ministry can play. A staff member from the Netherlands shared that more people came to Christ through their internet ministry last year than through their other field ministries. This same comment was made by a staff member from Germany. Now I will be among the first to say this is not necessarily an apples-to-apples comparison, but the fruitfulness of internet ministry is catching leadership attention.
I am excited about what God is doing in Europe and around the world.
