Today I was watching a video on Google Video when I noticed on the side the different options to spread the video. There’s always an “email this video” link, and recently there’s been options to grab the HTML code to embed videos.
But today was the first time I’ve noticed the prominence that Google is giving MySpace, or more accurately, the recognition Google Video is giving to MySpace users.
Just saw that and thought it to be interesting.

Google and MySpace just entered an agreement for all advertising in MySpace. In fact a guaranteed $900M over the next three years. Considered FOX bought MySpace for less than $600M, sounds like a pretty good return on investment to me.
If I’m not mistaken, Google and MySpace just signed a deal for MySpace to use Google search technology. It may be that the MySpace just started to appear in connection with that deal.
Yeah, they are partnering, but it’s still impressive to me.
Oh, yes - it’s impressive. Wasn’t trying to say it wasn’t. Just adding a data point.
