my firefox extensions at effective web ministry notes

my firefox extensions

my firefox extensions, originally uploaded by orangejack.

These are all free (sans Snagit) Firefox extensions that really help my online experience to be much better. They keep me on top of things and help me stay organized as I spend time inside my browser.

What extensions are you using to help you out? You are using Firefox, right? ;-)

You should try the ForecastFox Enhanced 0.9.3 plugin instead. It gives you much nicer (and bigger) maps.

I tried it. Liked it okay. My ISP did not support it for their “parental controls”, which do help a bit here and there, though pretty much a joke when it comes to blogs.

I still felt I needed to try with “people controls”…I mean, “parental”. Because us adults are so much better able to handle filth than unhormonal “kids”, of course???

The term “parental controls” is so lame imho.

Nope, using Flock these days- really cool with Flickr.

Nice list, here’s mine. I wanna mention that I’ve found the Del.icio.us bookmarket is enough for me in terms of integrating del.icio.us into Firefox.

    Adblock Plus or Adblock
Adblock Filterset.G Updater (makes adblock fire and forget)
    Chatzilla (IRC)
    Compact Library Extension Organizer (CLEO)
    Firefox Extension Backup Extension (FEBE)
    Flashblock
    Nightly Tester Tools
    Web Developer Toolbar

    Disabled, but handy if wanted:
    Gmail manager
    Google Toolbar
    IE Tab
    PDF Download
    Performancing (blogging tool)

Here’s mine … I try to keep FireFox as bloat free as possible. I love FireFox but it takes up a lot of memory already:
