A few weeks ago I started listing to a podcast called Geeks & God. It’s not bad. A little geeky to be sure (some of it I didn’t get — which is also why I don’t consider myself a geek; but then again here I am blogging about a podcast that I like that is self-titled “Geek”. Whoa, I’ve been tangential too long here. Sorry.)
As I was saying, it’s not a bad podcast. When you download it weekly, prepare about 45 minutes to listen to it all though. They recently started talking about blogging.
Though I’d prefer to listen to something less geeky, this is a decent podcast for you, uh, geeks.

Too many kids in my home talking all the time for me to enjoy anything that makes noise right now including much music, TV or podcasts. Why I enjoy the silence of reading a solid thoughts without the noise, I suppose!

Nuclearity – Helping Families Find the True Center
Nuclearity is a radio program operating out of these assumptions:
* When couples are inspired to love each other and love their children, God is glorified. We aim to be a source of that inspiration.
* The world doesn’t need another radio program offering to solve problems “in three easy stepsâ€; the world always needs more stories.
* We appreciate both public radio and Christian radio, but will probably be heard on neither. Our programming may be too honest about Jesus for the one and too honest about life for the other.
* Language, voices and music are important parts of God’s good creation. With his help, we aim to combine these into a lovely roller coaster of audio.

Just ran across your post about Geeks and God….naturally, being one of the hosts, I was pleased to see a little review. Thanks!
Our constant struggle is to talk tech and be geeky, without being TOO geeky for ministry folks. Our hope is that the average ministry guy/gal can listen and, while they may only understand half of what they hear, to start getting familiar with some technologies/terms that are new to them and slowly start to understand how to better use that tech to grow The Kingdom.
Anyway, thanks for listening, if you ever have any suggestions on how we could better the show for ministry folks, we’d love to hear from you!
