Wow. Cool video. It makes me think:
“How in the world will we (we = me, you anyone whose ministry is webish) KEEP UP?” At best, I can hope to ride the wave, so to speak. Yet, our message is unique and so worthy of creative modes of communication. By grace, the wave will carry the gospel message through the torrential disemination and aggregation of digital content to individual’s hearts as He has always done.

The technology is the easy part; the people are the hard part. This may sound like a pessimistic response to your appeal; however, it seems to be the consistent hurdle I encounter as a web software developer - especially as I am exposed to and utilize new technologies and methods. It’s not that we can’t come up with “HD DVD” and “Blue Ray” technologies - the issue is that we can’t seem to always agree on the best approach. The video showed HTML, XML, and communication using XML in the form of RSS. These are all standards. It seems like we as humans make the most progress technologically and otherwise not necessarily when we merely invent, but when we find cause to agree.

@stephen : you’re right about the agreed upon standards. Standards make it so much easier! But what do you mean “the people are the hard part”? Hard part of what?
