You know about The Purpose Driven Life, right? It’s made up of short chapters that, really, are best shared together in community.
So what if you turned that into a blog? Daily you post a recap and thoughts and allow others to reply. Hopefully they are taking the journey with you.
So many factors effect how this will go. But one is a critical mass from marketing attempts.
My uncle is a pastor and he’s leading a series of blog posts on The Purpose Driven Life. I encourage you to at least check out the concept and at the most participate with him and the growing community.
To help, you can sign up just for the RSS feed of this series.
I’ve seen this concept work before and I’ve actually got a project brewing in my head that I want to try for building a community. We’ll see. But in the meantime, check out Rev. Bill’s blog and if you’ve never done something like this, I encourage you to participate in the daily study.

Thanks for the plug! I thought it would be a great way for the members of my class to share between meeting times — as well as a great way for others to join in! I have been amazed at some of the responses I have gotten from some of my posts about other things from those with many different viewpoints. I hope this will provide a forum for many to study and share.
I just began Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven Life and am blogging about it daily as well. I am doing this on my own and not as part of a small group or church sponsored event. I think its a great concept for users to blog about their daily experiences.
