I learned of a global project today that I think is a perfect opportunity for us to take part in. OneWebDay is a kind of “Earth Day for the web”. Also similar to the idea of the Internet Evangelism Day.
They say on their site:
The mission of OneWebDay is to create, maintain, advance, and promote a global day to celebrate online life: September 22
According to the OneWebDay About page, ways to participate in the day is to submit photos, articles, and videos all tagged so there will be a large amount of content on that day spread across the world.
The one I think is most interesting is they are looking for stories (especially video stories) of how the web has impacted your life. You think we’ve got some stories like that we can share with the world? They will be listening.
Below is a video interview with Susan Crawford, founder of OneWebDay, where she explains what it’s all about and what they are looking for.

This sounds like a great opportunity to join the global conversation about how the web can be used to be a conduit for the gospel change in our lives. They are asking us to share our stories. I think we should take them up on the offer!

That’s a no-brainer. Count on lots of content coming from The Internet Ministry Conference cameras and bloggers at the ready.
