Many of the traditional English names are originally from the Bible. Who were these people? Example: Mary = mother of Jesus. The one with most right answers gets best answer. Oh, and you CAN’T use Google etc.

Joseph- Foster father to Jesus

David- King of Judah

Adam- first human/man on earth

Peter- “The Rock”, disciple of Jesus and first Pope

John- There were many John’s. One of them is: John the Baptist- Jesus’ cousin

Michael- One of the Archangels

Aaron- Brother of Moses and Miriam, Miriam and Aaron turned on Moses while in the desert.

Jacob- Brother of Esau, son of Isaac. Esau sold Jacob his birthright for some stew and fooled Isaac into blessing him

Paul- Originally Saul, who was a prosecutor of Christians and converted after having of vision of the Lord
