Anyone know where I can get a new translation of a Korean/English Bible online or in Chicago?

*Please note that I don’t the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ translation. I’m looking for NLT or NIV or something like that with the newer translation of the Korean (instead of the older translation). The websites I have found them at have them for nearly $50. Does anyone know where they can be purchased cheaper? In Chicago (if not online)?

Although I cannot think of any internet sites where you might look, I do have a worthwhile suggestion for you.

I would like to suggest a visit to a Korean Import Food Store near your location. From my previous experience with some Korean Import Food Stores in Austin, Texas, the owners of the Korean Import Food Stores just may have the item that you’re looking for. Usually, the Korean Import Food Stores have more everyday items, music, books, etc., than just food items.

If they don’t, they are usually most helpful directing you to where you might obtain your item, or perhaps, the owners of the Korean Import Food Store will special order the item you are looking for.

Chances are good that you will purchase a NIV version of the Bible, especially in the Korean and English languages.

I cannot help you with pricing, but I have previously found the Korean Import Food Stores can average from reasonable, to almost outrageous.

Another suggestion would be to visit any Korean Christian Church in your location. Perhaps, with giving a reasonable offering to the Church, you may purchase an older, but readable copy of the Bible. They most likely purchase their Bibles from a local Korean Import Food store, also.
