Muslims should read the Bible with an open mind. How else will they know the truth?

Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except thru Me.

The Quran and the Bible

The Quran contradicts the Bible concerning fundamental issues. They cannot both be right; one of them must be in error.
The Quran claims that the Bible is the barometer of truth.
Therefore the Quran must be in error.

1. The Quran contradicts the Bible concerning fundamental issues:

a. Regarding the identity of Jesus the Quran says: “They indeed disbelieve who say: ‘Surely, Allah – He is the Messiah’” Surah 5:17 , 5:72
b. Regarding the crucifixion of Jesus, the Quran says, “They killed him [Jesus] not, nor did they cause his death on the cross, but he was made to appear to them as such” Surah 4:157

2. The Quran claims that the Bible is the barometer of truth.
a. “But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book [Bible] before you” Surah 10:94a.
b. “And that which We have revealed to you of the Book [Bible], that is the truth verifying that which is before it; most surely with respect to his servants Allah is Aware, Seeing” Surah 35:31.
c. “Say: Who revealed the Book which Moses brought, a light and guidance to men? Surah 6:91b
d. And do not dispute with the followers of the book except by what is best, except those of them who act unjustly, and say: We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you, and our God and your God is One, and to Him do we submit” Surah 29:46

Therefore, the Quran must be in error. Since the Quran and be Bible disagree on fundamental issues, they cannot both be right. Logic demands that one has to be in error. Muslims claim that since the Bible does not match the Quran, the Bible must have been corrupted. However, since the Quran teaches that the Bible is the barometer of truth, this leads to the inevitable conclusion that whenever the Bible and the Quran disagree, the Quran must be in error. In other words, the Quran is in error concerning a myriad of theological issues such as the Holy Trinity, the identity of Jesus as the Son of God, the sacrificial atonement of Christ, and the inerrancy of the bible.

Quran testify to the Bible = the Word of God

The Quran claims that the Bible is the Word of God:

“And believe (o children of Israel) in what I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it, neither take a mean price in exchange for My communications; and Me, Me alone should you fear”. (Surah 2:41)

1. The Quran claims that God’s Word is inerrant:

“And certainly apostles before you were rejected [biblical prophets], but they were patient on being rejected and persecuted until Our help came to them; and there is none to change the words of Allah [meaning that the Bible could not be altered], and certainly there has come to you some information about the messengers”.

2. Therefore, the Bible must be inerrant.

If the Bible is inerrant, muslims must believe the Bible. We have already established that the Bible is God’s Word and that muslims must believe all of God’s revelations in order to be saved. Since God’s Word is inerrant, Jesus Christ has to be the Son of God who was crucified and raised from the dead to atone for the sin or humankind. Furthermore, there is no salvation except through Him. Any muslim who disagrees with this conclusion undermines the integrity and infallibility of their own scriptures. Their own Qurran convicts them:
But the unjust deny the communication of Allah (Surah 6:33)
