Should these books now be included in modern Bibles?
The oldest complete New Testament, the Codex Sinaiticus, is now available online for everyone to read at http://www.codexsinaiticus.org. It includes two books not found in modern day Bibles, the Shepherd of Hermas and the Epistle of Barnabas.
Should these two books be put back into Bibles since they were taken out at some point?
If not, if they once were the word of God, how come they aren’t viewed as such anymore?
Why would someone choose follow the teachings from the KJV or any other modern day bible when it most likely has changed quite a bit from what the “word of God” was when it was originally written? What makes your bible more “true” than one that hasn’t been modified by someone (Like King James?)
