The new ROI is ME!

I can dig this. Ralph Wilson reviewed The Corporate Blogging Book today. One of the chapters is all about me, your humble host here at eMinistryNotes.
Okay, not really me per se, but chapter 6 is called: The New ROI is ROB (Return on Blog). How to assess the success of a blog.
I don’t […]

Pinging Google

Google announced today that bloggers can now ping Google Blog Search. Pinging is basically a way to tell a service that you’ve updated your blog.
From the help page from Google:
The Google Blog Search Pinging Service is a way to inform Google Blog Search of weblog updates. These updates are then published and shared with […]

Blogger Beta

Anyone tried the new Blogger Beta?
Blogger has been under pressure to upgrade their blogging tool for years. Wordpress.com offers so much more. So Blogger has released a beta upgrade to their tool. So far, it’s pretty good. They offer a lot of assistance to template tweaking, offer categories (as labels), and […]

How to Blog a Conference

Josh Hallett has a great post on How to Blog a Conference. Whew! He goes all out, but I would love to see some Campus Crusade conferences done like this!
Thanks to Steve for the tip.

White African’s Top 10 Web Tools for Bloggers

The White African is a friend of mine, though we’ve only met once at church. But he’s got a nice blog about technology and such. Great post today about his top 10 web tools for bloggers.

He says what I have come to understand but not applied.
Here are some of his points:

Traffic is generated by participating in the community; not daily posting
Traffic is irrelevant to your blog’s success anyway
RSS fatigue is already […]

Welcome, Mag!
Today she posted one of the better, thought-out posts on Safe & Successful Christian Blogging: Thoughts & Tips. This is a must-read for all Christian bloggers […]

Report Shows Blogs Reflect Personal Experiences

A new report released from Pew Internet reveals that most people blog about personal experiences more than anything else. Based on a national phone survey that was done only a very small percentage of blogs cover politics, media and government. You can read the report at Pew Internet’s website.

Belief, Blogging, and Beyond Resources

Thanks to DJ, I just finished a presentation called Belief, Blogging, and Beyond Resources by Justin Long.
He’s got some nice history on blogs and some great points in the presentation. Thankfully he’s also linked up his outline in the post so you can use it to get your bearings.
Very nice job, Justin. Also, […]

Easy AutoResponder

As you know I’ve been playing around with FeedBlitz - a free service to deliver this blog’s posts as a daily email digest. The way it works is that it grabs the RSS feed of the site and creates an automated summary of the day’s posts via email subscriptions.
This morning I discovered FeedBlitz also […]
