I learned of a global project today that I think is a perfect opportunity for us to take part in. OneWebDay is a kind of “Earth Day for the web”. Also similar to the idea of the Internet Evangelism Day.
They say on their site:
The mission of OneWebDay is to create, maintain, […]
Facebook is fun. It’s great for connecting with people. It’s great for sharing links, videos, notes, and updates with your friends.
Facebook is also a walled garden; that is you need to join (or get inside the walls) before you can enjoy all the things it offers. I’ve also referred to it as […]
“Wiki” is now in the dictionary. And as good as that is for the word itself, you’ve got to be careful with wikis — a wiki can kill.
Actor and comedian, Sinbad, began receiving condolences for his own death because the popular user-edited Wikipedia reported his ‘death’. Turns out Sinbad is alive and well.

What a superb idea! My buddy, Dan, ministers with LeaderImpact Group, a ministry out of Campus Crusade for Christ, Canada. Currently Dan is on a mission trip to Panama City, Panama (not Florida!) and his most recent project update is great!

Dan over at has an interesting article saying that Second Life is full of Opportunity for ministry.
I tend to agree, though I haven’t spent any time in Second Life. I did see that the new US Congress Rep Miller held a press conference in Second Life last week.
Have any of you tried out […]
I’ve talked about some easy autoresponders before. Now I’ve found a service called FeedCycle that will publish serialized RSS feeds.
This is good. I’ve not tried it yet though. A TechCrunch article explains:
If you are telling a multi-part story, or communicating a segmented message over time, you should give FeedCycle a look. Publishers […]
This is an interesting idea: using Skype as an interactive survey tool.
They start with a call and then follow up with a Skype chat message that takes you to a web-based form.
Have you thought about how to integrate Skype (in Beta 3.0 now) into your overall internet ministry strategy?
