If you’ve followed this site with much regularity, you’ve probably heard about Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). What I don’t think we’ve done much is talk about the relationship between the two.
Lucky for us, Dr. Ralph Wilson started it for us with the short article For a New Site, PPC First, Then […]
Today I came across an interesting tool called “socialmeter.” This tool scans several sites such as Google, del.icio.us, Technorati and a couple of others to show you the popularity of the url that you supply. It gives you a report that are linked so that you can further explore on the different sites like Technorati.
You […]
Word of Mouth Basic Training 2 “Master the Art of Word of Mouth, Viral, Buzz and Blog Marketing” was held June 20-21 in San Francisco. You can download at no cost the presentations here. There is so much you can learn from this material to help with your church or ministry marketing.
Remember this banner ad from 1994? Me neither. But apparently it was the original banner ad, put out by AT&T.

How’s that for a little bait and switch?
I’m not a fan of McDonald’s, really, I haven’t been to one in years. But this is a
great billboard:

Oh wait, I was telling you about Blake. You see, when I clicked on […]
Seth Godin is a true marketer at heart. In fact, it’s one reason I follow his work. He “gets it”. Marketing isn’t about “making a sell”. It’s, well, here’s what he said:
…the real point of marketing. It’s not to sell something to person A. Instead, at least right now, it’s to […]

.flickr-yourcomment { }
.flickr-frame { text-align: left; padding: 3px; }
.flickr-caption { font-size: 0.8em; margin-top: 0px; }

Another very interesting idea I had not really though of: build a Google homepage module. Blake explains how he’s seen a boost to his site after building one […]
Dr. Ralph Wilson is an authority on web marketing. He publishes a weekly email that today contained Three Ways to Get Non-Reciprocal Links. One of them was one I had never thought of before: Search for Sites to “Add URL.”
Read up on it and subscribe to his newsletter. Totally worth it.
Getting Listed in Google Maps in four Easy Steps
Again, this is one of those things that, from a ministry perspective, makes a lot of sense for churches. But what about organizations like Campus Crusade?
