christian spiritual gifts test
Spiritual gifts tes: career ideas?

I’m a Christian bytheway. I took a couple of spiritual gifts tests and I found out that my spiritual gift is mercy or mercy shower.

“The special gift whereby the Spirit enables certain Christians to feel exceptional empathy and compassion for those who are suffering (physically, mentally, or emotionally) so as to feel genuine sympathy for their misery, speaking words of compassion, but more so caring for them with acts of love that help alleviate their distress.

I wanted to know what sort of careers would be good for me to help others using my gift in the biggest way for God. I was thinking Christian Counselor but that seemed too limiting and I want to do something that will make a big impact and help alot of people. Any ideas would be helpful, thanks!

Well, see, here’s the deal: If you are seeking God’s will and direction for your life He will direct your path. Lots of prayer is required and it may be a while before you have a grasp of His will for your life. In the meantime, continue to learn and grow and watch for Him to open doors.

It would be easy to pass off this latest Jars of Clay release as a marketing gimmick, especially as more and more Christian artists are turning to casting age-old hymns in their own creative image. Has the modern praise-and-worship songwriting well run dry or are artists truly looking back over time to gain that "renewed and refreshed perspective" as Jars describes this effort in the liner notes f...

In order to call themselves good Christians, many people have drawn overly flexible boundaries (unwilling to say no, always accommodating others' needs) or overly rigid boundaries (to the point of being righteous and judgmental). Psychologists and inspirational speakers Cloud and Townsend show readers how to set reasonable boundaries in order to follow the true path of Christianity. This book...
Celebration of Discipline: The Path to Spiritual Growth Celebration of Discipline: The Path to Spiritual Growth
$12.67

When Richard Foster began writing Celebration of Discipline more than 20 years ago, an older writer gave him a bit of advice: "Be sure that every chapter forces the reader into the next chapter." Foster took the advice to heart; as a result, his book presents one of the most compelling and readable visions of Christian spirituality published in the past few decades. After beginning with a si...
