A silly semi-cutiepie
forgot her bat wings at my house
forgot her magic markers, too.
And her eye glitters and Bible.

She likes the scent of my house
(Intoxicating sanatizer and perfume)
Says I smell like a pool
and my heart is a bloody pond
with silly little notes

She quotes my tiny mind
says she likes my whimsical ways
I tell her its not that great
She says “I feel the same.”

We have cross eyed games
and suffer from strange word vomit
Pulls twigs
from trees
and uses them as magic wands.

We’re sidewalk travelers
and ladybug dreamers
and frilly skirt wearers
and cold wind drinkers.
We’re green grass pullers and
dragon walkers.
Swingset swingers.
Paper plane crashers.

That is all we are.
All we will ever, ever be.
