For Christians:Will evangelical Christianity collapse due to extremists like Pastor Terry Jones?
Evangelical Christianity in this country has had its share of scandals,such as the PTL Club financial disaster in the 1980’s with Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker,and,Oral Roberts and his crazy proclamations,also in the 1980’s,and,even for the last two to three years,there’s been some sort of Senate investigation going on regarding other prominent TV and internet ministries,such as those of Kenneth Copeland and Joyce Meyer,for example.
This is one of the reasons why,after spending 27 years in three different Protestant evangelical Christian churches,I decided to leave it behind and return to the Catholic church,which I feel has much sounder doctrines,teachings,stability,and,isn’t going to collapse like evangelical Christianity may collapse in the not too distant future.
