Needing Help….Youth Group!

HI…My husband and my self are youth leaders at our church. We are wanting to start working with the kids on some skits/plays,the problem is…We cant find any that we like. I would like your option….what is something that you did with your youth group and enjoyed? Youth leaders what kind of skits have you had your children preform?
We have talked to our kids and they told us to pick something that we wanted them to do.

I’m 16 and as a member of a youth group, I really feel the need to tell you that I don’t get much out of skits and plays! They are usually really corny and embarressing for me to watch, and if not- I never learn anything from them!
What sets the mood at my youth is simple praise and worship, if you’re not already doing that. Casting Crowns is a good group.
Remember that it is important that you focus on teaching the youth the word of God, and discussing things that will help them as Christian teens. It’s not always about fun and games. If you want to liven the mood one day, I would suggest a game of bible trivia. Too often youth groups stray away from God and become a place just for kids to hang out and nothing more. Please don’t let your youth group fall into that category!
