The great battle between Archangel Michael and Satan is fought on earth on the battlefield of Armageddon in the future era of the Apocalypse. Satan is man’s evil unrepentant pride on earth. It is from earth that man’s evil human pride is felled from heaven by Archangel Michael.
Scripture tells us that the devil will be chained up in hell at Armageddon. There will be “a thousand years” where we will not have the devil “leading the nations astray” before the devil is once again released from hell to harm us again. There is a period between Armageddon and doomsday which is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ which is Judgement day.
